Brentwood 5K Event Special Registration to Expire

The 11th annual "Kickin' Cancer!" 5K Walk/Run & Family Expo is three months away, but the special registration price of $30 is set to expire on June 30.

"Kickin' Cancer!" will be held on San Vicente Boulevard on Sept. 30 and was organized by the Lynne Cohen Foundation for Ovarian Cancer Research. It means to raise funds for research and prevention of ovarian and breast cancers.

Visit the cancer research organization's Facebook page for a promotional code that will give you an additional $5 off of the registration fee.

Here are more benefits for early registrants, according to "Kickin' Cancer!" organizers:

    •    Register for the 5K Walk/Run by June 30 and be entered to WIN prizes including Kickin' Cancer! merchandise, a $10 gift certificate to , (2) meal passes to
    •    1st Team Captain to recruit a total of 10 team member will receive one free four-week adult fitness camp from Camp Gladiator
    •    1st Team Captain to recruit 25 team members will receive a $150 gift certificate toward any service at Westside Aesthetics and a product gift basket valued at $200
    •    All registered participants will receive a special discount code good for $10 off a purchase of $50 or more from  Splits59 Activewear for Women
