Rescheduled: I-405: Major Closures Thursday and Friday

Drivers will face two major closures of Sunset Boulevard and Church Lane on July 9 for a week as crews remove underground waterlines, according to Metro.

Sunset Boulevard will be closed between Veteran and Barrington avenues, and Church Lane between Sepulveda Boulevard and Kiel Street daily from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. 

Detours

    •    Eastbound traffic on Sunset Boulevard will be diverted to southbound Barrington Avenue, to eastbound Wilshire Boulevard, to northbound Veteran Avenue and back to Sunset Boulevard.
    •    Westbound Sunset Boulevard traffic will be diverted to southbound Veteran Avenue, to westbound Wilshire Boulevard, to northbound Barrington Avenue and back to Sunset Boulevard.
    •    Northbound Church Lane traffic will be diverted to eastbound Montana Avenue, to northbound Sepulveda Boulevard and then back to Church Lane.
    •    Southbound Church Lane traffic will be prompted to continue south on Sepulveda Boulevard, to westbound Montana Avenue and back onto Church Lane.
    •    The northbound Sunset Boulevard on- and off-ramps, and the southbound on-ramps will be closed at 8 p.m. The SB off-ramp will remain open with access to Sepulveda Boulevard only.
