New Eatery Coming to Brentwood Village

It's called Brentwood Cafe and it's the newest venture of restauranteur Bruce Marder, owner of Broadway Deli, Capo, Cora's Coffee Shop, House Cafe and Red Rooster Bakery.

Broadway Deli's Bruce Marder is opening a new eatery on Barrington Avenue, Eater L.A. reported.

It's called Cafe Brentwood and it's going to take over the space that Saketini currently occupies at 150 S. Barrington Ave. in Brentwod Village.

According to a Department of Alcohol Beverage Control notice posted in the window, Cafe Brentwood will be licensed to serve beer and wine, but must make substantial sales from food.

Since the license allows for lesser sales of alcohol to food, minors will be allowed on the premises.

According to Eater L.A., there is no word yet on when the establishment will open its doors to patrons.
