(Video) Meet a Musician: Russ Lewark, Jug Band Bred

Listen for this farmers market performer's mellifluous music every Sunday on Gretna Green Way in Brentwood.

For musician Russ Lewark, playing the farmers market circuit is a great way to keep busy and pay the bills.

He's been playing the markets for about two years, though he's frequented the Brentwood venue only for the past six weeks or so.

Though he got his start playing jug band music some 40 years ago, you can catch Lewark belting out traditional Irish songs, jamming Red Hot Chilie Pappers, strumming some swing tunes or singing some Bob Dylan tunes.

When Patch happened on him, Lewark was playing a Tom Petty song.

"I'd say I concentrate mainly between '60s and '80s, but then I'm all over the place," he said.
