Brentwood Art Center

Brentwood Art Center is located on Montana Avenue near 26th Street and has served the Brentwood and surroundingMore communities since 1971. Brentwood Art Center offers art classes for children, teens and adults year-round with class sizes generally ranging between nine to 13 students. Winter and summer art camps for children are also available at Brentwood Art Center as well as adult travel programs. Students working on and looking for assistance on portfolios are welcome. Basic drawing supplies are available for sale but most adult classes require students to provide their own materials. Brentwood Art Center also hosts birthday parties and offers exhibits featuring students' completed art works.
Brentwood Youth House

Brentwood Youth House is located on Bundy Drive, just south of San Vicente Boulevard, and is adjacent to the More href="http://www.lausd.k12.ca.us/Brentwood_Science_Magnet/">Brentwood Science Magnet School</a>.</p> <p>Brentwood Youth House is part of the Westside YMCA. It offers after-school care for children, through the YMCA, as well as after-school programs such as homework club, youth services corps and earth service club. Summer and winter day camps are also offered. The Brentwood Youth House additionally serves the Brentwood community as a meeting places for various events and seminars.</p>

Brentwood School, founded in 1972, is an independent K-12 coed day school on Sunset Boulevard.

Brentwood Science Magnet School

Brentwood Science has the biggest enrollment of any elementary magnet school in the Los Angeles Unified SchoolMore District. Students are bused in from 200 districts across the district and speak 37 different languages, including Farsi, Russian, Spanish, Korean and Chinese.  </p> <p>Highly-ranked in the California API scores, the school emphasizes the scientific method and logical inquiry. Sports teams, robotics clubs, parent-funded music and arts enrichment all combine to actualize the school's mission statement: "The mission of Brentwood Science Magnet is to enable all students to become contributing members of a diverse society, empowered with the knowledge, values, and skill necessary to meet challenges with success." </p> <p></p>
