Translating to mean "Daily Bread,"Le Pain Quotidien is a rustic cafe and bakery serving simple and healthy meals. Breakfast offers homemade organic granola, oatmeal, waffles, fruit and omelets made with organic eggs. For lunch or an early dinner, Le Pain Quitidien serves a selection of tartines - French-style open faced sandwiches on fresh flat bread with toppings such as smoked salmon, roast beef, grilled chicken, roasted turkey, tuna, egg salad and various cheeses and vegetables. Groups can share platters of Mediterranean and Tuscan foods served with bread. A large selection of pastries and desserts is also available, including tarts, brownies, cookies, danishes, crumbles and muffins. Customers can also stop in just to pick up a baguette, French rolls, brioche or a loaf of Le Pain Quotidien's specialty breads. The dining room includes a long communal table for friends and strangers to come together and break bread. All of Le Pain Quotidien's breads are made from organic ingredients and the furniture is made from reclaimed wood. Parking is available under the building, accessible from the alley off of 26th Street.
