Help Out in Brentwood For Big Sunday Weekend

A variety of community service projects still have openings for volunteers.

A huge effort to help spruce up Los Angeles and spread goodwill is planned for this weekend and it's not too late to join.

Round up your family, your neighbors or co-workers for Big Sunday Weekend. The annual community service event is in its 14th year.

University Synagogue in Brentwood is one site that needs volunteers this Sunday. According to the Big Sunday website, volunteers will be sorting clothes and books and making quilts for delivery to the needy. The Synagogue is also hosting a blood drive and "Alex's Lemonade Stand" will be on hand.
