Week's Top Stories: Jeff Bridges, Whiz Kid, Apple Bonking

The first installment of our spotlight was a big winner and we have you to thank.

Griffin Koffman is as popular as he is smart, according to our Web traffic reports. Griffin's profile has gotten over 70 Facebook "recommendations" as of Friday night and that's a record for us.

Many Web visitors with similar names also commented on the Whiz Kid article, so we apparently chose someone with a big loving family. Congratulations, Griffin, and thanks to you and your mom and all your friends.

I knew, however, that IKAR has a lot of congregants from the area and they were participating the community garden project.

Then I learned the Brentwood Whiz Kid's swimming meet in Israel is one of the Jewish Community Center's activities, so  I think straying off the Patch turned out to be justified. Maybe the extra traffic is coming from Whiz Kid readers. Comments?
