University High Baseball Seeded No. 8 in Playoffs
The Wildcats host North Hollywood in the first round of the City Division II bracket Tuesday.
The City Section released its baseball playoff pairings Monday morning and University High is seeded No. 8 in Division II.
The Wildcats will host ninth-seeded North Hollywood in the first round next Tuesday at 3 p.m. at University High. The winner of Tuesday's game will either travel to top-seeded Maywood Academy or host the winner of Friday's wild-card game between No. 17 Santee and No. 16 King-Drew in the quarterfinals May 26.
Semifinals are May 31 at 3 and 6 p.m. at Birmingham High in Lake Balboa and the Division II final is June 4 at 11 a.m. at Dodger Stadium.

University is the only Western League team in the Division II draw.
In Division I, Western League champion Palisades is seeded No.11 and will travel to sixth-seeded San Fernando in the first round Tuesday at 3 p.m.

Westchester is seeded No. 16 in Division I and hosts No. 17 LA Roosevelt in a wild-card game Friday. The winner travels to top-seeded Chatsworth in the first round.
