Local Athletes Make All-CIF Squads

Brentwood and Archer players earn Southern Section honors in soccer and basketball after stellar seasons.

The CIF All-Southern Section boys and girls teams have been chosen and several local players have made the cut in their respective sports and divisions. 

In boys basketball, Brentwood School freshman made the Division 5AA squad after leading the Eagles with 4.5 assists per game. 

In girls basketball, Archer School junior forward and freshman made the 5A squad. Maurice averaged 12.8 points and 13.7 rebounds per game and Barnett averaged 2.8 assists and 4.0 steals per game for the Panthers.

In boys soccer, Brentwood senior defender made the Division 6 team and in girls soccer, Brentwood senior midfielder made the Division 4 team.
