Eagles Spikers No. 2 in Preseason Poll

Brentwood School's girls volleyball team is ranked second in Division 3A.

The first CIF Southern Section preseason sports polls of the fall season have been released and Brentwood School is ranked No. 2 in the girls volleyball Division 3A Top 10 poll.

The poll was voted on, coordinated and finalized by the CIF Southern Section Girls Volleyball Coaches Advisory Committee. Top 10 polls for each division will be updated weekly throughout the season.

Brentwood is topped only by Alpha League rival Campbell Hall in the Division 3A poll. Windward, also from the Alpha League, is ranked No. 4. All three teams advanced to the 3A semifinals last season. League winner Brentwood was upset by Rim of the World 19-17 in the fifth and deciding set while runner-up Campbell Hall eliminated third-place Windward in four sets. Campbell Hall went on to sweep Rim of the World in the final.
