Brentwood Water Polo Ranked 10th

The Eagles hold their place in the Southern Section Division 7 poll.

The CIF Southern Section has released this week's boys water polo rankings and is No. 10 in the Division 7 poll. 

The poll was voted on, coordinated and finalized by the CIF Southern Section Boys Water Polo Coaches Advisory Committee. The polls will be updated every week throughout the season.

Brentwood, coached by Bryan Weaver, opened the season last week with a 19-4 trouncing of Baldwin Park.

There were no changes in this week's Division 7 poll. Nogales stayed No. 1, followed by Santa Ynez, Nipomo, Ocean View, Don Lugo, Hacienda Heights Wilson, Cajon, Los Amigos, Lompoc Cabrillo and Brentwood. On the "others under consideration" list just outside the Top 10 are Chino, Citrus Valley and Orange.

Mater Dei is still rated No. 1 in Division 1; Corona Del Mar is still No. 1 team in the Division 2 poll; Laguna Beach remained No. 1 in Division 3; Agoura stayed No. 1 in Division 4; Pasadena Poly supplanted La Serna as No. 1 in the Division 5 poll; and Beaumont again tops the Division 6 poll.
