Brentwood School Spikers Third in Southern Section Poll

Three Eagles squads are among the Top 10 in their divisions in the CIF's weekly rankings.

The released its weekly Top 10 polls Monday and Brentwood School teams are ranked in three sports.

In boys volleyball, the Eagles are ranked third in behind Santa Monica and San Gabriel. They are one spot ahead of  rival Windward, the team the Eagles defeated in five sets last week. Rounding out the Top 10 are Cathedral, Yucaipa, La Salle, Santa Fe, Ganesha, and St. Margaret's.

In boys tennis, Brentwood is eighth in the poll behind Irvine University, Palos Verdes, Corona del Mar, Woodbridge, Santa Barbara, Harvard-Westlake and Peninsula. San Marino is No. 9 and Northwood is No. 10.

Several Eagles participated in the  in Ventura County over the weekend and top player  advanced to the quarterfinals of the CIF single division while teammates and reached the same round in the CIF doubles division. 

In baseball, Brentwood is ninth in . Ahead of the Eagles are Oxford, Pasadena Poly, Lancaster Desert Christian, Bishop Union, Vasquez, Capistrano Valley Christian, Boron and Viewpoint. Rounding out the poll at No. 10 is Villanova Prep.
