Revere Registration Days Coming Up

Dear Parent/Guardian and Student,

Greetings! The Revere faculty and staff are eager to meet you and get the new school year off to a great start! This year Revere will have REVERE REGISTRATION DAYS prior to school starting for students (and parents/guardians). All students are to come to Revere on his/her grade level day to turn in several required documents in order to receive a copy of his/her schedule for the Fall semester. It is highly recommended that students and/or a parent/guardian attend REVERE REGISTRATION DAYS rather than having to wait until school begins on August 14. By turning in your documents, you will be issued the following:

• Class Schedule
• Textbooks
• Hall Locker
• PE clothes
• Student ID / Lunch Card

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING? 

• Backpack to carry your books
• Pen
• Pencil
• Cash or Money Order ONLY payable to Paul Revere Middle School to purchase PE Clothes and/or pay for outstanding book fines  (click here for a list of PE clothes prices)

ALL Revere students must fill out the REQUIRED DOCUMENTS below.  Download, fill out and print for submission the following documents.

Required Documents

1. Student Emergency Information
2. Information Release Form
3. Student Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
4. Health Office & Checklist
5. TDAP vaccination verification, if not already turned in (7th and 8th grade only) 

WHERE DO I GO FOR REGISTRATION DAYS?

All students/parents should report directly to the Gymnasium on the North end of campus.  Parking will be available on campus and on the PE field/black top.

NOT GOING TO MAKE IT ON YOUR ASSIGNED DAY?  ON VACATION?  OUT OF TOWN?

Please only come on your assigned day or come on the Make-Up Day on Friday, August 10, 2012.  Just know that the lines will be very very long on make-up day as the offices prepare to open up the school year. 

If your student and/or parent/guardian cannot come on your assigned day, you may send a representative to turn in documents and pick up items. Click here to download the waiver giving your representative  permission to go through all of the registration stations in your absence.

IS THERE A MISTAKE ON YOUR CLASS SCHEDULE?

When you pick up your schedule, it will show your assigned classes without teachers or room numbers.  Full class schedules will be distributed in Homeroom on the first day of school.  To ask your counselor about a class (i.e. class change), know the following:

• Write your counselor a note with your STUDENT’S NAME and REASON for a class change and leave it in his/her Main Office mailbox.
• The Counseling Office is enrolling new students the first few days of school.
• Wait patiently for a few days (or less) for your counselor to summons/contact you.
• Class changes will not be granted to change from teacher-to-teacher.
• The Counseling Office did it’s best to enroll you in the elective you requested.  Write your counselor a note if  you have a question or request and please patiently wait to be contacted.

NOT PLANNING ON ATTENDING REVERE?
