Girl Scout Cookies Returning With Something New

Cookie season starts this month, bringing with it a new flavor in honor of the scouting organization's 100th anniversary.

I bet you've been waiting all year for this—Girl Scout cookie season.

You won't be alone. The Girl Scouts of America sold $760 million in cookies in 2011, the Los Angeles Times reported.

Girl Scout cookie season runs from Jan. 20 to March 25. This year marks the Girl Scouts' 100th anniversary. To celebrate, the national organization has introduced a new flavor—Savannah Smiles, in honor of founder Juliette Gordon Low, a Savannah, GA local.
