Archer School Art Students Host Gallery Opening

The show, titled "#three," showcased multi-media expressions by three L.A. artists, represented by the Craig Krull Gallery in Santa Monica.

A compelling new exhibition at The Gallery at The Archer School for Girls in Brentwood, brought together the multi-media expressions of three Los Angeles artists, all women, represented by the Craig Krull Gallery of Bergamot Station in Santa Monica.

The Gallery is curated by students at Archer as part of the school's gallery management program. The three participating artists are Pam Posey, Nancy Monk and Phranc. On Friday, March 15, there was a vibrant gallery opening titled "#three" and a reception for the artists, followed by an engaging artist talk with Monk and Phranc moderated by Krull.

One student in Archer's gallery and design class said that by learning the business side of art, they are developing the essential and necessary skills that are required to run a gallery through the learning of core foundations such as: selling art, maintenance, publicity and artist relations.
