'Days of our Lives' Star Sells Eco-Friendly Brentwood Home

Soap star Peter Reckell and his wife, singer Kelly Moneymaker, sell their 3,345-square-foot Brentwood home for $3.35 million. It overlooks the Santa Monica Mountain Conservancy.

The former "Days of Our Lives" star who played Bo Brady, Peter Reckell, sold his environmentally friendly home in Brentwood for $3.35 million, reports the Los Angeles Times.

Reckell and his wife, singer Kelly Moneymaker, reportedly bought the property in 2003 for $1.13 million and had the 3,345-square foot, three-bedroom and four-bathroom contemporary custom-built. Prior to building, the couple had the previous home torn down and shipped to Mexico for Habitat for Humanity.

The home features a temperature-controlled wine cave and recording studio, a solar panel system with battery backup, recycled glass terrazzo floors with radiant heating and recycled denim and cotton insulation. It overlooks the Santa Monica Mountain Conservancy.
