Sepulveda Boulevard to Close Friday

Between 10 p.m. Fridays to 6 a.m. Mondays, full closures can be expected between Montana Avenue and Church Lane.

Reconstruction work will cause closures of a half-mile stretch of Sepulveda Boulevard in Brentwood beginning Friday.

The affected area is between Montana Avenue and Church Lane. The work will continue until April 28, according to Metro.

The work is part of the I-405 Sepulveda Pass Improvements Project.

Existing asphalt concrete will be demolished and grading, compacting and new roadway pavement will be built. During the day, lane reductions will be used, but on some nights and weekends, there will be full street closures.

Between 10 p.m. Fridays to 6 a.m. Mondays, full closures can be expected. From 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. weekdays, traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction. Full nighttime closures are scheduled between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. on weekday nights.
