Locals React to Upcoming 405 Closure

West Los Angeles residents and commuters react to the planned shutdown of a 10-mile stretch of the 405 freeway.

West Los Angeles residents and commuters reacted Tuesday to the plan to shut down a 10-mile stretch of the 405 Freeway from July 15-18.

The closure is part of the 405/Sepulveda Pass widening project.

While some worried about the inconvenience the closure will cause, others say the completed project will ultimately help relieve traffic congestion in the area.
