It's Not Too Late to Get Sandbags

Sandbag materials are being provided to Los Angeles residents by the city Fire Department today.

Empty bags, and sand to fill them, is available at no cost at the following locations in and around Patch towns, including some fire stations, offices and recreation centers:

-- Station 41, 1439 Gardner Ave., Hollywood Hills;

-- Station 43, 3690 Motor Ave., Palms;

-- Station 71, 107 S. Beverly Glen Blvd., Bel Air;

-- Station 78, 4041 Whitsett Ave., Valley Village;

-- Station 82, 5769 Hollywood Blvd., Hollywood;

-- Station 86, 4305 Vineland Ave., Toluca Lake;
