Garcetti, Greuel to Square Off in Westside Debate

The Brentwood Community Council is co-sponsoring the debate at Sinai Temple on April 29.

The public is invited to a debate in Westwood next Monday between mayoral candidates Eric Garcetti and Wendy Gruel that is being sponsored by several local organizations.

The debate will be held at the Sinai Temple at 10400 Wilshire Boulevard at 7:30 p.m. on Monday April 29.  The public is welcome, but reservations are required. Those interested should email debate@wwnc.org.

An organizer for the event told Patch Thursday the capacity is 600 and there are currently 400 seats filled.

Garcetti and Gruel were among eight candidates for the position in the primary election in March and were the top two finishers, advancing them to the general election, which will take place on May 21.

The Brentwood Community Council is co-sponsoring the debate.
