405 Freeway Northbound Lanes Reduced for 10 Hours

Metro to conduct concrete paving for the widening of the mainline for the carpool lane.

There will be a 10-hour lane reduction on the 405 Freeway northbound Friday night into Saturday morning for concrete paving for the I-405 Sepulveda Pass Improvements Project.

Lane #1 and #2 will be closed on the northbound 405 for 10 hours, from 11 p.m. tonight, Friday, June 28 to 9 a.m. Saturday, June 29. Three lanes will remain open. These are lanes that will be closed on the 405 north from Sunset Boulevard to the Getty Center Drive ramps.

This lane reduction is necessary to conduct concrete paving on the center median area of the freeway to facilitate widening of the mainline for the carpool lane, according to Metro.
