Registrar: About 700,000 More Ballots to Count

The Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk releases the most recent tallies Friday.

Los Angeles County officials are making a dent in counting 792,658 ballots cast for last Tuesday's election that were not counted on election night.

As of Friday afternoon, the number of uncounted ballots is down to 693,762, according to a release from the office of Dean Logan, registrar-recorder/county clerk.

Those uncounted ballots are a mix of provisional ballots, vote-by-mail ballots turned in at polling places, and Election Day vote-by-mail ballots cast through UPS.

After the polls closed Tuesday night, 2,368,283 ballots were counted in Los Angeles County.

Election results posted on www.lavote.net reflect the most recent tallies. The next update on the results is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 13.
