Council District 11 Candidate Forum Schedule

Los Angeles City Council District 11 candidates square off in forums next month in Brentwood, Pacific Palisades and, tentatively, Mar Vista.

The four candidates looking to replace District 11 Los Angeles City Councilman Bill Rosendahl will be discussing their views on city issues entering the stretch run to the primary elections.

Here's a look at the upcoming schedule of forums:

  • The Brentwood News and the Westside Regional Alliance of Council's hosts "Meet the Candidates" forum on Thursday, Feb. 7 at University Synagogue, 11960 Sunset Blvd., Brentwood, from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Candidates Odysseus Bostick, Mike Bonin, Tina Hess and Fred Sutton are scheduled to attend to discuss their views on local and city issues. Rosendahl has been invited to say a few words at the beginning, too. Seating is limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. You need to RSVP so we can reserve a seat for you. Limit two per inquiry. Please RSVP to: Suzanne@BrentwoodNewsOnline.com. If you don't use email, call 310-476-6397.
  • The four candidates are slated to appear on Thursday, Feb. 14 at the Pacific Palisades Community Council meeting for a candidate forum. The meeting runs from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Palisades Branch Library.
  • The Mar Vista Community Council is tentatively planning a candidate forum for the end of February, possibly Feb. 28 at the Mar Vista Recreation Center Auditorium, according to one campaign spokesperson.
