Brentwood Patch Poll: Should Owners Be Fined For Barking Dogs?

The Los Angeles City Council approved an ordinance that will fine residents whose dogs bark incessantly.

The Los Angeles City Council approved an ordinance Tuesday that would cite dog owners whose pets bark excessively, reported The Los Angeles Times.

The measure will have to be approved by Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa before going into effect, according to the report.

The LA Times said offenders could pay pretty steep fines.
