Bill Bloomfield Opens Pacific Palisades Campaign Office

The office aims to cater to the northern constituents of the newly redrawn 33rd Congressional District. There's an open house this Wednesday.

Bill Bloomfield, independent candidate for Congress in the newly drawn 33rd Congressional District, which includes Pacific Palisades, opened a new campaign office in the heart of the village in Pacific Palisades at 860 Via De La Paz, Suite F12.

The campaign is hosting an open house on Wednesday, Sept. 19 from 5 to 7 p.m. According to Communications Director Sabrina Wazzan, attendees will enjoy light fare and have an opportunity to speak with the candidate about his plans to fix Congress and break partisan gridlock.

"We wanted an easy place for constituents to have access to," she said. "It's easy access to Santa Monica, Pacific Palisades, Malibu, Thousand Oaks and other parts of the district."

Both campaign offices are open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., plus evening and weekend hours to be announced.

Bloomfield's campaign also has an office in Manhattan Beach that has been operational for several months. The district stretches from Malibu all the way down the coast to Palos Verdes with boundaries that were recently redrawn by a Citizen’s Redistricting Commission established by the passage of Proposition 11.

Bloomfield squares off against incumbent Henry Waxman to fill the 33rd Congressional District seat. The new district stretches from the Palos Verdes Peninsula to the Beach Cities, through slivers of Marina del Rey and Venice, up to Santa Monica, Malibu, Calabasas and Agoura Hills. The district also extends inland to include Brentwood, Pacific Palisades, Beverly Hills and parts of West L.A.
