Sepulveda Pass Lanes Closed Following Accident, Car Fire

The northbound 405 Freeway is jammed up following a two-vehicle crash and a car fire on Getty Center Drive Tuesday afternoon.

A car fire and two-vehicle crash caused problems Tuesday on the 405 Freeway in the Sepulveda Pass shortly before 2 p.m.

According to SigAlert at 2:30 p.m., a crash with an overturned truck is blocking two left lanes on the 405 northbound and traffic is backed up to the 10. The 405 southbound is slow from the 101 to Sunset Boulevard and again from pockets from the 10 to Rosecrans.

The two-vehicle crash occurred just south of Mulholland Drive, according to Miguel Luevano of California Highway Patrol. He said the Los Angeles Fire Department was one scene and no injuries were reported and no one was transported by ambulance.

A car fire was also reported at Getty Center Drive, and it doesn't appear to be more than that, but the fire is visible from the scene.
