Second Brazen Robbery Reported in Brentwood in One Week

Los Angeles police seek an orange sports car with paper plates reading "CARVER" involved in Tuesday's latest incident on South Anita Avenue.

For the second time in a week, Los Angeles police are seeking suspects involved in a Brentwood robbery that occurred in broad daylight.

According to Senior Lead Officer Maria Gray, a man allegedly sprayed an unknown substance Tuesday in the face of an elderly woman (different victim than last week) in the face while she was taking out her trash, and stole her ring.

The incident occurred Tuesday before noon in the 200 block of South Anita Avenue, the same locations as the attempted robbery on Jan. 22 at 10:35 a.m. in the 200 block of South Anita Avenue.

Gray said one suspect is described as a Hispanic man with a greenish sweatshirt in his early 20s. There was a second suspect, with an unknown race and gender. Gray said they took off in an orange sports car with paper plates reading "CARVER."
