Police: Masked Men Rob Brentwood Restaurant [UPDATE]

Employees ordered into freezer of A Votre Sante while suspects remove items from restaurant and flee.

An armed robbery took place on Jan. 13 at 10:15 p.m. at A Votre Sante at 13016 San Vicente Blvd. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, two armed men entered the restaurant and ordered employees into the freezer.

One man was described by police as Hispanic, 5'9'' with a black-hooded sweatshirt and a handgun, and the other was also described as Hispanic with a blue-hooded sweatshirt and a knife.

Police said the men took a phone and money from one employee and took the surveillance equipment (monitor, computer and printer) belonging to the business and fled. The owner released the employees from the freezer.

According to Brentwood Senior Lead Officer Maria Gray, the suspects entered the building with the cleaning crew. Police are investigating.
