Police Blotter: Battery and Burglary

This week's crime roundup also includes a stolen laptop and wallet.

Two cases of battery and four home burglaries topped crime in Brentwood for the week of July 17-23. All information comes from the blotter released by the Los Angeles Police Department Westside Division.

Burglary        

A suspect smashed a window and stole paintings and light fixtures from a home in the 1000 block of S. Bundy Drive on July 17. The theft was reported at 3 p.m.

The suspect smashed a window and stole narcotics from a home in the 11600 block of San Vicente Boulevard on July 19. The theft was reported at 1:35 a.m.

Jewelry was stolen from a home in the 100 block of Bowling Green Way after the thief smashed a window. The crime occurred on July 20 and was reported at 7 a.m.

Two suspects gained entry through a cut screen door stealing cash and watches from a home in the 800 block of N. Bundy Drive. The crime occurred on July 22 and was reported at

Two suspects gained entry through a cut screen door, stealing cash and watches from a home in the 800 block of N. Bundy Drive. The crime occurred on July 22 and was reported at 8:20 p.m. The suspects are described as black males standing between 5 feet, 10 inches and 6 feet tall.

Theft            

A wallet was taken from a construction site office in the 11600 block of Wilshire Boulevard. The crime occurred on July 22 and was reported 3:30 p.m.

A laptop was stole from a vehicle parked in the 1100 block of Bundy Drive. The crime occurred on July 17 and was reported at 5:15 p.m. The suspect vehicle is described as a two door CLK320 Mercedes Benz.

Battery

A suspect pushed the victim’s hand in the 11600 block of San Vicente Boulevard on July 15. The incident was reported at 9:30 a.m. The suspects were identified by the victim.   

The suspect spat in the victim’s face in the 1000 block of Granville Avenue on July 22. The incident was reported at 12 p.m. The suspects were identified by the victim.
