Police Blotter: Assault With Car, 4 Burglaries and 3 Thefts

Alleged assault with car

At 6 p.m. on Aug. 19 in the 200 block of 26th St., a vehicle reportedly struck a pedestrian. The suspect has been identified, according to .

At 6 p.m. on Aug. 25 in the 17000 block of Wilshire Boulevard, suspects allegedly entered a business by smashing the window and removed glasses.

Burglary from vehicle

  • At 8 a.m. on Aug. 20 in the 16000 block of Wilshire Boulevard, an iPod was taken from an unlocked vehicle.
  • At 6 p.m. on Aug. 21 in the 11800 block of Kiowa Avenue, a vehicle's window was smashed, but nothing was taken.
  • At 5:30 p.m. on Aug. 23 in the 11900 block of Montana Avenue, cash and a purse were reportedly taken from an unlocked vehicle.

Theft

  • At 4 p.m. on Aug. 24 in the 11900 block of San Vincente Boulevard, suspects removed a victim's bike from the sidewalk.
  • At 2:10 p.m. on Aug. 27 in the 11600 block of Wilshire Boulevard, suspects removed jewelry from a gym.

Battery

  • At 8 p.m. on Aug. 19 in the 16600 block of Park Lane Circle, suspects reportedly grabbed a victim's arm. A suspect has been identified.
  • At 8 p.m. on Aug. 21 in the 300 block of South Barrington Avenue, A suspect punched a victim while playing basketball. The suspect's described as a while man in his 30s, 6'1'' and approximately 200 pounds.
  • At 6:20 p.m. on Aug. 22 in the 11600 block of San Vincente Boulevard, a suspect allegedly slapped a person in the back. The suspect has been identified.

Vandalism

  • At 6 p.m. on Aug. 22 in the 500 block of South Barrington Avenue, a suspect broke a mirror on a vehicle.
  • At 9:40 p.m. on Aug. 22 in the 11800 block of Dorothy Street, suspects reportedly sprayed graffiti on a building. They are described as white men between 18 and 20 years old, 5'10'' and approximately 160 pounds. 
  • At 12:01 a.m. on Aug. 26 in the 11900 block os Kiowa Avenue, suspects smashed a plate glass window.
