Police Blotter: 8 Burglaries Reported in Brentwood

The following information is from the LAPD regarding crimes reported in Brentwood from Oct. 25 through Nov. 18

Burglaries

2400 Westridge

Between 10/29/13 at 3:30 pm and 10/30/31 at 7:00 am, suspect(s) entered garage by unknown means and removed fixtures and tools.

800 Gretna Green

A 73 year old victim reported that between 10/31/13 at 7:30 pm and 11/01/13 at 3:00 pm, suspect(s) entered her apartment by unknown means and removed petty cash and jewelry valued at $261.00,

100 S Saltair

On 11/04/13 at 10:20 pm, suspect reached into residence via unlocked side kitchen door and grabbed victim’s purse/contents.  Suspect: Male, NFD (no further description)

1500 San Remo

On 11/06/13 between 10:30 am and 4:00 pm, suspect(s) smashed the rear window and removed safe containing jewelry.

300 Bonhill Rd

Between 11/11/13 at 5:30 pm and 11/12/13 at 6:30 am, suspect(s) entered construction site structure via unlocked sliding door and removed washer, dryer, and tools.

11700 Dorothy #0

On 11/14/13 between 7:00 am and 7:20 pm, suspect(s) entered apartment through unlocked front door and removed purse/contents.

11300 Waterford

Between 11/14/13 at 4:00 pm and 11/15/13 at 8:00 am, suspect(s) entered vacant residence by unknown means and removed a refrigerator.  Landlord/tenant dispute suspected.

11700 Dorothy #0,
On 11/14/13 between 7:30 am and 6:15 pm, suspect(s) removed the apartment side screen and entered property.  No ransacking or property loss.

11600 Montana          

On 11/06/13 between 6:30 am and 7:30 pm, while parked on the street, a 2001 VW Jetta stolen

12200 Gorham Ave.  

Between 11/11/13,at 10:00 pm and 11/12/13 at 11:00 am, while parked on the street, a 2004 Honda Element stolen

11900 Goshen Ave.   

On 11/15/13 between 1:00 pm and 8:00 pm, while parked in a garage, a 2011 Kawasaki M/C stolen.

BFMV (Burglary and/or Theft from Motor Vehicle)

400 Cliffwood

On 10/27/13 between 12:05 am and 5:00 am, while parked in a driveway, suspect(s) ransacked car

11600 Montana

On 10/31/13 between 7:00 pm and 8:15 am, while parked in a sub-garage, suspect(s) removed laptop and bag

900 S. Bundy Ave

On 11/01/13 between 4:00 pm and 9:00 am, while parked on the street, suspect(s) removed clothes and a purse

12300 Montana         

On 11/03/13 between 9:30 pm and 6:30 am, while parked in a parking lot, suspect(s) removed a laptop and case

800 Wellesley

On 11/03/13 between 6:15 pm and 8:00 am, while parked on the street, suspect(s) removed headlights and cash

12000 Coyne

On 11/11/13 between 8:30 pm and 9:00 am, while parked on the street, suspect(s) stole a bag.

11900 Goshen Ave.

On 11/14/13 between 9:00 pm and 8:30 am, while parked in a parking lot, suspect(s) stole credit cards and cash.

1000 Amherst Ave     

On 11/14/13 between 5:30 pm and 8:00 am, while parked in a driveway, attempt break-in only.

11900 Darlington Ave

On 11/15/13 between 12:30 am and 7:30 am, while parked in a driveway, suspect(s) removed laptop and bags.

Grand Theft and Petty Theft

11700 San Vicente (business)

On 10/27/13, Unknown suspect took phone valued at $500.00 from restroom.

11700 Sunset Blvd (residence)          

On 10/31/13 (reported 11/05/13) Suspect took watch and wallet out of victim’s purse during a party valued at $8,100.00

11800 Mayfield (residence)

On 11/01/13 (reported 11/06/13) Unknown suspect took bike valued at $2,700.00 from parking garage.  

100 Grenville (residence)

Between 11/10/13 and 11/11/13         Unknown suspect took records valued at $5,050.00 from unsecured carport.

11900 Kiowa (residence)       

On 11/11/13 Suspect took lock from storage bin - unknown value.

11800 Kiowa (residence)

Between 11/11/13 and 11/12/13         Unknown suspect took bike valued at $514.49 from victim’s balcony.

1000 Granville Ave #0 (residence)

On 11/14/13 Unknown suspect removed the victim’s bike valued at $1,400.00 from apartment patio.

12200 Tweed Lane (residence)

On 11/14/13 Unknown suspect removed the victim’s phone valued at $500.00 from a table in her residence.  Two repairmen were working in her residence at the time the phone was taken.  The phone was tracked briefly until suspects turned it off.
