(Interactive) Police Blotter: Vehicle Theft; Burglary Runs Rampant in Brentwood

Police are cautioning residents to lock their doors and windows, set alarms and to keep their property well-lit at night.

Stolen Vehicle

1.) On Sept. 22 at 9:30 a.m., a White 1989 Mazda B2000 was stolen from the 14000 block of W. Sunset Boulevard. 

Burglary, Theft From Motor Vehicle

2.) On Sept. 18 at 5:45 p.m., a vehicle window was smashed and a bag and phone were taken on the 12400 block of Mountaingate Drive.
 
3.) A vehicle had its rims and tires stripped on the 11400 block of Montana Avenue at 5 p.m. on Sept. 19.

4.) On Sept. 21 at 10:30 p.m., a vehicle window was smashed and a camera bag taken on the 800 block of Wellesley Avenue.
 
5.) A purse was stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Sept. 22 at 11 p.m. on the 100 block of S. Rockingham Avenue.
 
6.) On Sept. 22 at 11:30 p.m., a vehicle window was smashed, an iPod taken on the 11600 block of Montana Drive.
 
7.) A vehicle window was smashed, an iPod, glasses and cash stolen on the 11700 block of Chenault Street at 3 a.m. on Friday. 

Burglary, Theft From Home or Business

8.) Computers were stolen from a home with an unlocked window on the 11700 block of Goshen Avenue on Sept. 19 at 11 a.m.

9.) A suspect was arrested for allegedly stealing a watch from a home with an unlocked door on the 700 block of Moreno Avenue at 10 p.m. on Saturday.

10.) On Sept. 17 at 11  p.m., cash was taken from a residence on the 14000 block of Sunset Boulevard.

Theft

11.) A suspect was identified in the theft of a dog taken from a store on the 11900 block of San Vicente Boulevard on Sept. 18 at 8 p.m.

12.) A Bicycle was stolen from an open garage on the 100 block of N. Canyon View Drive at 8 p.m. on Sept. 19.
 
13.) A TV and radio were stolen from a home with a door left open on the 100 block of N. Canyon View Drive at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
 
14.) A TV was taken from the backyard of a residence on the 300 block of N. Saltair Avenue at 8 p.m. on Friday.
