Four Suspects Sought in Attempted Brentwood Home Burglary

The following community alert is provided by the West L.A. Division for the Los Angeles Police Department.

The are looking for four suspects involved in an attempted residential burglary in Brentwood earlier this week.

According to police, on Tuesday, Sept. 4 at 4:15 p.m., suspects reportedly knocked on the door of a residence in the 12600 block of Sunset Boulevard near Canyon View Drive. When the victim reportedly did not answer the door, the suspects entered the rear yard via a side gate. Police reported the victim confronted the suspects and they fled the location in a vehicle.

The suspects are described only as four black men between 18 and 25 years old. The vehicle is described as a 1998 to 2003 four-door, black Lincoln Continental or Towncar with a partial license of "4K-K—" or "4K-K3-."

Anyone who witnesses suspicious activity related to the suspect information and vehicle, police advise to call 911 and not confront the suspects. For additional information, contact burglary detectives at 310-444-1522.
