Firefighters Rescue Fallen Mountain Biker
The bicyclist was in fair condition after falling near West Mandeville Road, authorities said.
Members of the Los Angeles Fire Department rescued a bicyclist who fell while riding in the Santa Monica Mountains Sunday.
The 30-year-old male rider was in fair condition, injuring his chest, neck and shoulder after going down near West Mandeville Fire Road, according to Brian Humphrey of the LAFD.
Firefighters were planning to hoist the man into a helicopter, which would take him to a hospital.
