Firefighters Hoist Injured Bicyclist Near Mandeville Fire Road
The injured bicyclist's location is just west of Mountaingate Country Club near Brentwood.
Firefighters have rescued an injured mountain biker from a trail near Mandeville Fire Road in Westridge-Canyonback Wilderness Park Thursday morning, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. The first report came in at 9:06 a.m.
According to LAFD spokesman Brian Humphrey a helicopter is being used to land on a ridge top hoist a 59-year-old man from the area. The biker reportedly has minor neck and back injuries.
The Westridge-Canyonbeck Wilderness Park is located west of Moutaingate Country Club and just south of San Vicente Mountain near Brentwood.
