Driver Charged With DUI Following 4-Vehicle Crash on 405

No one is transported in multi-vehicle wreck after a SigAlert is issued for about 30 minutes on the 405 Freeway northbound late Friday night, according to California Highway Patrol.

Three lanes were down for roughly 30 minutes late Friday night after a four-vehicle accident on the 405 Freeway northbound just south of Skirball Center Drive, according to California Highway Patrol. No one was injured.

CHP Officer Ed Jacobs said at 10:57 p.m. they received a report of a Toyota Camry driving erratically at high speeds and crashed. Upon arrival, Jacobs said a Los Angeles Police Department unit was on scene of a four-vehicle crash, with two vehicles on the shoulder near the HOV lane and two vehicles in the first high speed lane. A helicopter was also dispatched.

Jacobs said the driver of the Toyota Camry was charged by LAPD with driving while under the influence. A SigAlert was issued for about 30 minutes until the lanes were cleared, he added.
