Crime Blotter: Two Batteries and Burglary
The LAPD weekly report on crimes in Brentwood.
According to Senior Lead Office Phillip Enbody, the following crimes were reported to the Los Angeles Police Department for the Brentwood area during the week of May 20 to May 26.
BURGLARY/THEFT from MOTOR VEHICLE
May 23, at 9:30 p.m., in the 1100 block of Wellesley Avenue. A window was smashed on the vehicle and an iPad, shoes and a purse taken.

May 27, 7:15 p.m., in the 100 block of Granville Avenue. A laptop, camera and books were taken from the vehicle through a smashed window.
BURGLARY

May 21, 4:00 a.m., in the 400 block of N. Bundy Drive. The door of a storage unit were pried open and construction tools taken.
May 24, 3:30 p.m., in the 200 block of S. Woodburn Drive. Suspects pried open the rear door at a construction site.
THEFT
May 23, 11:05 a.m., in the 11700 block of Darlington Avenue. The suspect, a white male about 6 feet tall and weighing 175 pounds, and between 65 and 70 years of age, cut the padlock to a storage unit and removed luggage.
BATTERY
May 22, 4 p.m., in the 11700 block of Wilshire Boulevard, a suspect grabbed the victim.
May 23, 6 p.m., in the 1100 block of S. Barrington Avenue, an incident was reported, no more details.
