Crews Clean Up Fuel Spill in Brentwood Following Accident

Fifteen gallons of diesel fuel leaks following vehicle accident in Brentwood.

Bureau of Street Services crews are cleaning up a diesel fuel spill Thursday afternoon in Brentwood following a vehicle accident, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Police and fire personnel responded at 11:17 a.m. to a report for "electrical grid support" following a collision at 227 South Woodburn Drive involving a truck, according to Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson Christopher No and LAFD spokesperson Katherine Main.

Main said the truck leaked approximately 15 gallons of diesel fuel and street services crews arrived on scene to soak up the spill.

Police and cleaning crews stayed on scene most of Thursday for clean-up and to redirect traffic.
