Nina Drabkin Hello! I was just at my dads house in Brentwood and there was a coyote walking around Avondale / Hanover area of Brentwood around 11 30 am. Giving a heads up in case you want to post it. We brought the animals inside right away.

Have you seen any coyotes in this area of Brentwood recently?

A few weeks ago on a Friday night around 7pm a coyote traveled on Bundy going north through the Montana intersection. Please keep an eye on your small pets outdoors, especially during this time of year.

SAW ONE GETTING A BITE TO EAT ON NORTH CARMELINA JUST A FEW YARDS NORTH OF SUNSET A COUPLE OF MONTHS AGO. BACK IN EARLY SIXTIES WE WOULD SEE A RED FOX SEVERAL TIMES AND MOST EVERY NIGHT A HOOT OWL WOULD SERANADE THE NEIGHBORHOOD. ALAS THE OWL HAS TAKEN UP RESIDENCE IN ANOTHER PART OF BRENWOOD. WE MISS HIM.

I am a part time resident here in Brentwood and also live in Connecticut. We have had many coyote sightings in Connecticut and the community has lost several small pets. They are typically quite harmless, but I would advise, like the others, to keep small pets indoors at dusk and sunset

Remember - we moved into their neighborhood. Like the advice above, just keep your pets safe.
