Brentwood Police Blotter: Suspects, One With Mohawk, ID'd in Assault, Theft

The following information was supplied by the West L.A. Division of the Los Angeles Police Department.

Suspect ID'd in alleged assault

On Oct. 14 at 6 p.m. in the 11600 block of Wilshire Boulevard, a suspect pushed and kicked a victim, according to Los Angeles police. He's described as a white man with black hair and brown eyes, approximately six feet tall, 200 pounds and approximately 40 years in age.

Man with mohawk hair ID'd in cell phone theft

On Oct. 15 at 1:30 p.m. in the 11700 block of San Vicente Boulevard, a suspect stole a cell phone from someone and ran. He's described as a Hispanic man with black hair, six feet tall, between approximately 24 and 28 years old with a mohawk hair style.

Stolen Ford Ranger

On Oct. 20 at 10 p.m. in the 400 block of South Barrington Avenue, a black 2005 Ford Ranger pick-up was stolen.

Vehicle burglaries at similar times/locations

  • On Oct. 14 at 5 p.m. in the 11300 block of Albata Street, cash, clothes and a wallet were taken from an unlocked vehicle.
  • On Oct. 14 at 6:45 p.m. in the 11300 block of Albata Street, cash was taken from an unlocked vehicle.
  • On Oct. 15 at 6:30 p.m. in the 11800 block of Darlington Avenue, unknown property was taken from an unlocked vehicle.
  • On Oct. 15 at 9 p.m. in the 11800 block of Darlington Avenue, a watch, iPod and camera were taken from an unlocked vehicle.
  • On Oct. 18 at 1 a.m. in the 400 block of South Barrington Avenue, a vehicle was smashed and a bag, shoes and balls were removed.

Grand theft

  • On Oct. 15 at 3:30 p.m. in the 400 block of Bowling Green Way, tools were taken from a construction site.
  • On Oct. 15 at 11:30 p.m. in the 400 block of Bowling Green Way, tools were taken from a construction site. 
  • On Oct. 19 at 12:01 a.m. in the 11700 block of Montana Avenue, suspects removed rims and tires from a vehicle.

Office creepers

  • On Oct. 17 at 9 p.m. in the 12000 block of Chalon Road, suspects pried open a door and removed a laptop.
  • On Oct. 19 at 11 p.m. in the 11800 block of San Vicente Boulevard, suspects entered offices and removed computers.
