A note from Senior Lead Officer Maria Gray:

Thank you everyone for your patience while I’ve been off for a couple of weeks.  Now it is catch-up time!  But I must say it was very nice to come back to a new low in crime for the area with an overall year to date reduction of 25 percent. The successes are due to the community taking a proactive interest in their community combined with the hard working officers and detectives that respond and investigate. Some of your tips have resulted in multiple felony arrests-- of which I can give no further details without compromising the reporting parties so please don’t ask -- and these arrests will have an impact that reverberates throughout the community for a long time to come. So thank you all and it’s great to be back!
