Note:

Neighborhood Watch groups are much more informal these days and don’t necessarily have to involve the assignments of ‘Block Captains’ and the taking of Minutes.  It simply comes down to neighbors getting together and looking out for one another and learning of common neighborhood issues and City resources.  They can occur once, monthly or quarterly-- whatever seems appropriate for the area and issues.  If you’d like to host a neighborhood watch group for your neighborhood please feel free to contact me.  Moreover, if you provide a list of your most immediate concerns ahead of time I will usually be able to have someone familiar with those issues accompany me and be able to address them.

I want to thank the gracious hosts of the newly formed ‘South Canyon View Drive Neighborhood Watch Group’ for having my partner and me, along with their immediate neighbors, at their home last night in an effort to resolve issues that are affecting their neighborhood.  It was a very productive meeting and a wonderful chance to meet the residents and to learn firsthand what concerns and issues should be addressed.  Thank you so much to the hosts as well as to those who took the time to come and network with their community.  You were all wonderful company and I appreciate the enthusiasm!
