39 Firefighters Contain West L.A. House Fire
LAFD extinguishes flames in 19 minutes at home between Santa Monica and Olympic boulevards.
A fire broke out in a one-story house in West Los Angeles Friday night, but no one was injured.
The fire was reported at 6:43 p.m. at 1922 Camden Ave., between Santa Monica and Olympic boulevards, said Katherine Main of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Firefighters arriving at the location reported smoke showing from the structure. With 39 firefighters on the scene, the flames were under control in 19 minutes, Main said.
