Comedian Phyllis Diller Dies at 95

The actress and comedian died in her Brentwood home on Monday.

Actress and comedian Phyllis Diller died in her Brentwood home on Monday at the age of 95, according to multiple media reports.

Diller, who was being cared for at home, had recently injured herself in a fall, The Hollywood Gossip reported.

Sources told TMZ that she died in her sleep surrounded by family. In 1999, the comedian had to use a pacemaker after having a heart attack, TMZ reported.

The actress' career spanned some 60 years. According to USA Today, Diller began acting in 1952.

Among her latest credits, Diller did voiceovers on the TV series Family Guy, according to the Internet Movie Database.
