I Hold the Olympic Torch, Meet Jamaican Olympic Team and Birmingham Lord Mayor

The U.S. Olympic Track and Field Team goes on an excursion to the Birmingham cathedral and city hall to meet with the lord mayor and I get to hold the Olympic torch.

The U.S. Olympic Track and Field team went to church services at the cathedral in Birmingham. Also present was the Jamaican team. After the services, we went to a reception at city hall where we had lunch with the lord mayor of Birmingham, Councillor John Lines, got to hold the Olympic torch, and had a concert by a local children's choir. Now more U.S. athletes are showing up to training camp and the fun excursions will probably end. Me and the rest of the medical staff are progressively getting busier with more athletes to take care of.
