The Giving Spirit and Whole Foods Market Brentwood Partner to Help LA's Homeless

Market Brentwood and help The Giving Spirit fundraise for
this important effort.

On Wednesday, April 2nd, Whole Foods Market Brentwood is hosting a 5% Community
Day, benefiting TGS. Five percent of the store’s net sales for the day will be
donated to TGS.  The organization, which is 100% volunteer run, will hand
out 1700 summer survival backpacks to homeless women, children and families at
the end of May.  Each backpack contains over 30 items that help our
homeless survive the heat of an LA summer at a cost of $35 for each backpack.
