Dean Mora and his Orchestra regularly sell out Maxwell DeMill’s “Cicada” Dinner Club in downtown Los Angeles and we expect them to pack the hall in January. Their program will include big band classics by Benny Goodman and Tommy Dorsey coupled with concert jazz works by Bernstein, Ellington and Stravinsky. The show takes place in Sprague Center (just off the main St. Matthew’s parking lot). Dessert, wine and coffee will be served and we’ll put down a dance floor if you’d like to show off your swing steps.
