Wilshire Boulevard Closure Tonight
The eastbound lane of Wilshire Boulevard at Sepulveda Boulevard will be closed to traffic at 10 p.m. Monday as crews work on the 405 Freeway overpass there, according to Metro.
Correction: Metro has now stated that the closure will occur at 10 p.m., not 8 p.m.
The eastbound lane of Wilshire Boulevard at Sepulveda Boulevard will be closed tonight at 10 p.m. as crews set the falsework on the under-crossing there, according to Metro.
Traffic could be heavily impacted in and around the area, officials said.
Falsework is a temporary bridge support and the work is a crucial step in the widening of the 405 Freeway as part of the Sepulveda Pass Improvements Project, officials said.
According to Metro, more Wilshire Boulevard closures will follow through Friday and also on March 19. A full westbound closure is scheduled for Wednesday night. East and westbound lanes will not be closed at the same time, officials said.
