What If You Won the $580M Powerball Jackpot?

What would you have done with the prize money?

Okay, so it's a little anti-climactic that California doesn't participate in Powerball, but isn't it fun to dream about winning the nearly $580 million jackpot?

CNN reported Wednesday night that tickets containing the winning numbers—5, 23, 16, 22, 29 and the Powerball 6—were sold in nearby Arizona and in Missouri.

According to the Los Angeles Times, state residents drove or flew to one of the other 42 participating states to snatch up a potential winner. Maybe next time it climbs high, the newspaper reported California residents may not have to travel far since the state lottery commission is expected to adopt regulations to join Powerball. Retailers could start selling tickets as soon as April.

To play, you must pick five unique numbers from 1 through 59, and a Powerball number from 1 through 35. The jackpot increases by $10 million if no one wins during a drawing; in this case, no one had won since Oct. 6.

So tell us, what would you have done with $580 million? Would you have given any to charity? Would you go on a month-long vacation? Would you have quit your job, bought a Ferrari and sailed away into the sunset?
